Parts quality assurance refers to Cummins free or part of the free replacement or repair due to design, manufacturing, material defects and other reasons, caused by functional failure or fail to achieve the parts performance. The user shall confirm the purchased parts variety, quantity and appearance quality within one week. If there is no any confirmation, means there is no quality, quantity and appearance problem. Due to the transport, improper storage or other reasons caused by user side, parts damage are not caused by quality assurance services, we do not bear the indirect losses.

To safeguard the interests of service providers and users, Cummins has made a parts quality assurance policy(the following quality assurance period has been taken into account the service period of the service provider, the cylinder block, cylinder head and crankshaft 3 months, other parts 1 month):
(1) The quality assurance period of the cylinder block, cylinder head, crankshaft is 15 months, any quality problem for the processing, casting within 15 months can be replaced (The quality assurance period of engineering machinery and engineering vehicle is 7 months)

(2) The quality assurance period of the camshaft, connect rod is 7 months, any quality problem for the processing, casting within 7 months can be replaced (The quality assurance period of engineering machinery and engineering vehicle is 4 months)

(3) The quality assurance period of the gear chamber, exhaust manifold, flywheel housing is 4 months, any quality problem for the processing, casting within 4 months can be replaced.

(4) The quality assurance period of the fuel pump, air compressor, steering pump, alternator, starter motor, water pump, water pump, flywheel is 4 months, any quality problem for the processing, casting within 4 months can be replaced.

(5) The quality assurance period of instrument components such as induction plug, solenoid valve, pre-heater, relay is 2 months.

(6) The quality assurance period of internal operation parts such as rocker shaft bearing with arm assembly, intake valve, exhaust valve, piston, piston ring, rod stem, oil seal, push rod, bearings is 4 months.

(7) The seals are vulnerable parts, which is out of quality assurance services.

(8) The quality assurance period of gears such as oil pump gear, air compressor gear, crankshaft gear, camshaft gear is 7 months, any cracks for the quality problem can be replaced.

(9) No quality assurance service on the oil filter, fuel filter, fuel-water separator, water filter.

(10) The quality assurance period of bolts such as connecting rod bolts, cylinder head bolts, shock absorbers bolts, flywheel bolts is 4 months, other bolts are out of quality assurance services.

(11) The quality assurance period of clutch driven plate is 2 months, due to quality causes the original fracture can be replaced.

(12) The quality assurance period of turbocharger is 2 months, due to shell crack, shaft broken caused by the quality problem can be replaced.

(13) The quality assurance period of injector with gasket assembly is 2 months, due to crack for the quality reasons can be replaced.

(14) The quality assurance period of engine front and rear suspension, bracket, pressing plate, pins is 4 months, due to product quality reasons can be replaced.

(15) The above parts which does not list the quality assurance period, the quality assurance period can refer to similar function parts.
